The Darkest Night

The Darkest Night
The Darkest Night

The wounds of the soul were made invisible:
you can see mine bleed.

My heart is between your fingers,
in your watchful eyes, I sleep.

On the darkest night, you wake me,
knowing that you love for us to meet.

About a haunting grey cloud, I tell you,
without words, you wipe away my tears.

When a shy sun forces us to part,
the birds comfort me, along with the morning breeze.

You are in everything around me,
I can never flee from you.
